In the North, winter tests your resiliency, your patience and your creative spirit. For the ten artists gathered for this exhibition, this is a season for reflection, contemplation and invention. Cluster is a gathering of forms that allude to creatures of the winter both seen and imagined. Rejoicing, as I do, in their resolve to withstand the forces of nature, they take refuge in both the solitude and beauty that its darkest season brings.
